Volunteer subscriptions: Volunteers pay a subscription of £400 (US$784 or EUR 505) for the first 4 weeks and then £75 (US$147 or EUR 95) for each subsequent week. This covers travel in Ghana between Accra and Tamale, accommodation in a family home, breakfast and evening dinner throughout your stay in Tamale, and expenses of support staff (e.g. drivers).

All volunteers must:

1) be in good health health and be aware of the living conditions and health risks in Ghana

2) be responsible for arranging their own visa and making their own travel arrangements to and from Ghana - a supporting letter from Maltiti will be provided to volunteers to support their visa application

3) arrange their own health insurance - The Maltiti organisation does not accept any responsibility for your health, safety or welfare during your stay, although of course we do everything we can to help to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

4) be aware that, this being a developing region, standards of health care, living conditions, hygiene and safety are not of the levels you may be used to
